Owned by Laverne Kent and operated by Laverne and Lonny Kent, we bring over 20 years of professional experience and a tireless work ethic to every log we mill.

The Kent family has called Atlanta home for generations. As long-time residents, Laverne and Lonny are devoted family men committed to making their community a better place. Whether it’s Laverne serving on his church board or Lonny coaching high school football and baseball, our roots run deep in the town we serve. We started this sawmill to fill a vital gap in our community, providing local jobs and premium wood products.
